Yossi Vardi

Yossi has been involved in more than 50 start-ups in the fields of software, energy, Internet, cellular, electro-optics, clean-tech and others.

Yossi was the founding investor in Mirabilis (ICQ) the pioneer instant messaging company that was sold to America Online (AOL) in 1998 for $400 million.

Yossi serves on the advisory boards of Amdocs and on the Research Visionary Board of Motorola, and on the Future Trends Forum of The Bankinter Foundation of Innovation.

Shlomo Nechama

Shlomo Nehama was the Chairman of the Board of Bank Hapoalim, the leading bank in Israel, between the years 1998-2007. Together with the late Ted Arison, he organized a group of American and Israeli investors who purchased the bank from the State of Israel in 1997. In the 9 years in which he served as the bank's Chairman of the Board, the bank became a leader in the Israeli market while at the same time breaking into additional markets around the world.

Shlomo was a 17% partner in Arison Investments (controlled by Ted Arison) and served as its CEO from its incorporation in 1992 until 2006. During his service as the CEO of Arison Investments, the Company acquired control over Bank Hapoalim and acquired "Housing and Construction" – the largest construction company in Israel, "Eurocom" – a communications and internet company that represents Nokia in Israel, as well as investments in hi-tech companies and start-ups.

In 1982-1992 Shlomo was a partner and joint managing director of Eshed Engineers, a management consulting firm. In this position he accompanied and managed complex economic projects in the private and public sectors in Israel.

Shlomo is a director of numerous foundations and public institutions including the Technion Institute in Haifa and the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. In Addition his personal portfolio includes diversified private equity investments in more than 20 start-up and mature firms.
